LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The fun of Casey Kasem’s American Top 40 The 70s trips back to February 26, 1977, Sunday night at 8 pm over WLAF radio. Campbell County’s Saturday night basketball game broadcast over WLAF prompted the move to Sunday night for this weekend. The fun three hours of memories are brought to you by Maynard’s Auto Parts and State Representative Dennis Powers.

Saturday night over WLAF, you’ll hear Hall & Oates sing Rich Girl while Al Stewart plays his first hit, Year of the Cat. Also climbing the chart was the week’s biggest climber The Right Time of the Night by Jennifer Warnes. Barry Manilow was in the Top 10 with Weekend in New England. Additionally, the other top 36 songs will be played over WLAF just like they were in 1977.

AT40, The 70s airs in a special time slot, Sunday night at 8 pm over WLAF’s FM 100.9 and AM 1450 and is brought to you by Maynard’s Wrecker Service & Auto Parts and State Representative Dennis Powers.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 02/25/2022-6AM)
