Wlaf1450FOUNTAIN CITY, TN (WLAF) – The Lady Cougars fell behind the Lady Bobcats at Central early in Monday’s last district game and then played nip and tuck the rest of the way claiming a tight 40-37 win. Campbell concludes the regular season district schedule at 6 & 4 finishing third. With at least three games to go before the district tournament, the Lady Cougars are 16 & 7 overall. Campbell hosts the Union Patriots this evening on Senior Night on Brown Court. Josh Parker has all the live coverage right here over WLAF starting at 6pm.
The Lady Cougar scoring went like this with: Seniors Cora Browning and Bailey Gillum were tops for Campbell with 10 and eight points respectively followed by seven points each from Freshmen Carley Kitts and Karlie Whited. Emma Brandenburg and Lacey Pemberton finished with four a-piece.
