DUFF, TN (WLAF) – A black truck traveling on Little White Oak Rd in Duff caught the eye of Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputy Justin Phillips last Friday afternoon. Phillips noticed that Larry Wayne Lowe was driving the truck, and he knew that there was active warrant for Lowe’s arrest.

The deputy noticed the license tag on the truck was expired, and when he was verifying the registration was expired, he learned that the license tag did not belong to the 2000 Nissan Frontier truck but belonged to a 1996 Dodge, according to the sheriff’s department. Lowe’s driver’s license also came back as suspended since 2015 for failure to appear in general sessions court. Lowe was also unable to provide proof of financial responsibility and registration for the vehicle.

Lowe, 54, 165 Malicoat Lane, Duff was charged with driving while suspended, violation of TN financial law, driving/moving unregistered vehicle, violation of probation (criminal court), other.
