Katherine (Kathy) Marie Cooper, age 67, of Knoxville went to be with her Lord and Savior peacefully on February 22, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in LaFollette, TN on Christmas Day 1954.  She was of the Baptist faith.  Preceded in death by parents: Howard and Gladys Nelson, brothers: Joe, Charles and Bill, sisters: Trula, Doris and Glenna.

Loving husband Joe of 50 years, April 1st

Son: Anthony (Amy)

Grandchildren: Garrett, Kennedy, Kendall and Addison

Sisters: Mary (Gene) Cooper, Betty (Keith) Loy, Maggie (Stephen) Nelson, Beverly (Kipp) Miller

Brothers: Wayne (Jean) Nelson, Michael (Sharon) Nelson, Fred, Mark and Randy Nelson,

A host of special Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Grantsboro Baptist Church, Rev. Frank Phillips officiating, with Interment to follow in Grantsboro Cemetery.
