Traffic was slowed in both directions as a result of this Friday’s wreck.

PIONEER, TN (WLAF) – An 18-wheeler tanker wrecked on I-75 just before 10:30am Friday morning injuring its driver and slowing down traffic in both directions on I-75 near Mile Marker 146. One official said the big rig was headed south and landed north.

The big rig wreck on Friday morning sent the driver to the hospital.

A med chopper was not able to fly, and the injured driver of the big rig was transported by ground ambulance to a Knoxville hospital.
