LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The call of several people inside an abandoned house east of La Follette resulted in a sheriff’s sergeant making an arrest in the middle of the night last Tuesday morning.

Prior knowledge of just where a man wanted out of criminal court might be came in handy for Campbell County Sheriff’s Sergeant Timothy Powers when he answered the complaint at 3:30am on March 1.

At a house at 260 Sagefield Drive, just off the Stiner Highway/Highway 63 near the Frontier Store, is where Sergeant Powers located 51-year old William Dennis Odum. Odum of Ivey Hollow Road-La Follette was wanted for a violation of probation out of criminal court.

Powers arrested Odum without incident. Odum remains housed in the Campbell County Jail this morning without bond and awaits a March 28 court date. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 03/08/2022-6AM)
