Winter storm rages as LFD Firefighters battle house fire

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – As most slept, a heavy band of snow was falling in east La Follette as Firefighters with the La Follette Fire Department were battling a house fire on Saturday morning.

It was 2:30am when units responded during a snowstorm as temperatures were well below freezing to a home on the east side. There were no injuries although the home suffered minor damage. LFD Assistant Chief Eddie Hatmaker explains that the fire began from the chimney. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 03/14/2022-3PM)
