TOP PHOTO: One person died in a house fire that started around 11am Friday.

Firefighters drove, ran and walked to the scene of this house fire on Friday morning. The house sits on a hill at the top of a gravel driveway up above North 15th Street.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – A house fire in the 500 block of North 15th Street has claimed the life of a La Follette man. Fire investigators with the TBI are now on the scene of the fire as of the noon hour. La Follette Assistant Fire Chief Eddie Hatmaker radioed to dispatch that the fire was totally out at 12:13pm.

The fire call came in this morning at 11:05 with both on duty and off duty firefighters responding from the La Follette Fire Department and other agencies.

The home sits on a hill up from North 15th Street.
