LAFOLLETTE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF) – Attorney David Dunaway will not be a candidate for the position of Circuit Judge for the Eighth Judicial District, which encompasses Campbell County in the August 2022 election.

Dunaway was recently named a Super Lawyer by his peers and colleagues for the work which his offices had performed during the last 45 years and for the significant contributions that he had made in his representation of injured workers.

“I have decided to remain in the private sector and use the best of my ability to make a difference by championing the rights of those who suffer from personal injuries or occupational diseases.  I have always professed that the maximum power of the law should not be limited to a chosen few.  I have tried to follow that principle, and I will continue to do my best to serve those who are in need of my services,” Dunaway said.

Dunaway now practices law in Maryville, Tennessee in association with Attorney Rick A. Owens Law Office.  Through his continuing legal work, Dunaway looks forward to using his voice to make a difference in the lives of others. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 03/22/2022-6AM)
