The bike rider was transported to the La Follette Medical Center where he was flown out by a medical helicopter.

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – A car and a motorcycle collided on the Caryville bound side of the four lane at the turn in to Zaxby’s this evening at 7:39pm.

The motorcycle rider, a 35 year old man from Maryville, according to Central Dispatch, was airlifted from the La Follette Medical Center helipad. The woman driving the car appeared to be shaken up, not injured.

Multiple agencies responded to the crash scene.

Traffic was detoured through Jacksboro proper at the Eagle Market stop light and at the First Volunteer Bank cut across.
