NASHVILLE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF) – In State Senator Ken Yager’s recent on camera visit with constituents, he addresses the proposed 2022-2023 Tennessee State Budget which totals more than 50-billion dollars. Watch HERE on demand.

On Tuesday, Governor Bill Lee returned his amended budget, originally presented in February, to the legislature. Yager notes that the finance committee will work on Lee’s amendments and additions along with the 300 or so budget amendments proposed by legislators for the next few weeks.
