Wlaf1450Lona Jeanette Holt – age 98 of Knoxville went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 31, 2022. Member of Buffat Heights Baptist Church. Jeanette was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She will always be remembered for sending cards, singing in the church choir, and baking her famous chocolate cake. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Preceded in death by husband, Rev. Kendreth V. Holt; grandson, Danny Brewer; and parents, Frank and Laura Eidson.
Survived by sons, Ray (Karen) Holt, Gary (Janice) Holt, and Larry (Gail) Holt; 7 grandchildren; several great and great great grandchildren; sister, Mildred Sanford; and special niece and nephew, Scott Sanford and Sharon Price. A special thank you to the Ruth Class at Buffat Heights Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends 3:00-5:00 PM on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at Buffat Heights Baptist Church followed by the funeral service at 5:00 PM with Pastor Dave Thomas officiating.
