The funeral procession for career firefighter and Fire Boss Frank McCullah readies to cross over the railroad tracks heading to the deep west end of town to Woodlawn Cemetery.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The respect firefighters displayed on Thursday morning for the late Frank McCullah, the Fire Boss, was evident.

The La Follette Fire Department posted its ladder unit at the railroad tracks leading to Woodlawn Cemetery at 9:30am awaiting the 10am funeral procession for McCullah. “For a man to serve more than 30 years with the state forestry service, this is the least we can do,” said La Follette Fire Chief Jimmy Pack.

It was a salute and so long to Frank McCullah on Thursday morning.

The 84-year- old McCullah devoted his life to this dangerous career as both a firefighter and a fire boss. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 04/08/2022-6AM)
