Mrs. Linda Gail Orick Rutherford, age 74 of LaFollette, passed away Monday, April 11, 2022.  She was a member of New Horizon Baptist Church, where she assisted with the Awana program, and most recently served in the Church Nursery.  Linda was very active with the LaFollette High School Best of Times Reunion, representing the Class of 1966, and was a child caregiver for many years.  Preceded in death by Parents, Rev. Ernest and Opal Siler Orick, Former Husband, Carl Rutherford, and Brother-in-Law, Steve Morris.

Survivors:  Daughter, Emily Whited and husband, Joe; Son, David Rutherford and wife, Heather; Grandchildren, Ashley Moore and wife, Jessica, Madison Ridenour and husband, Jacob, Peyton Brandenburg, Karlie Whited, and Zori Rutherford; Great-Grandson, Skyler Moore; Sister, Donna Morris, and Brother, Denny Orick.  Several other relatives, friends, and her New Horizon Church Family. 

Funeral Services Wednesday, April 13, 2022, 7:00 P.M. at New Horizon Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Thomas officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Wednesday before funeral services.  Family and friends will meet Thursday, April 14, 2022, 10:30 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Powell Valley Cemetery & Memorial Gardens for 11:00 A.M. Graveside Services with Rev. Don Whited officiating.
