Cathy Ann Sprouse, age 64 of Powell, departed this life on April 20, 2022 at Methodist Medical Center. She was born on March 3, 1958 to the late John and Betty Ruth (Roberts) Young.  Cathy was a loving wife, mother, and nana that loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed fishing, working in the flower garden, listening to music, going on vacation, and cleaning everything till it was spotless.

She is survived by her loving husband Jerry Wayne Sprouse of Powell; sons Bradley Keith Young and Crystal of Jacksboro and Isaiha Lee Sprouse of Powell; stepsons Jerry Paul Sprouse of Oneida and Chris Lee Sprouse of Loudon, KY; daughter Jessica Renea Young Reynolds of Powell; brother John Young Jr. and Melissa of Michigan; sisters Marilyn Harris and Woody of LaFollette, Sharon Young and partner Rick Stults of LaFollette, and Deborah Nelson and Mitchell of Knoxville; grandchildren Courtney Renea Wallace, Joshua William Wallace, Lily Faith Young, Charley Braden, Alaine and Alisha Sprouse, and Abby Huckaby; and a host of other friends and relatives.

A visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM on Sunday, April 24, 2022 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 8:00 PM with Rev. Bo Freeman officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 AM on Monday, April 25, 2022 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home to go in funeral procession to Pond Cemetery for a 11:00 AM interment.
