Patricia Ann Hatmaker Ford, passed at sunrise on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at the age of 83.  She was born on September 4, 1938, to the late Leon Harry and Frankie Lee Hatmaker of Pasadena, Maryland.  She was a long-time nurse who had a gift for serving others.  Pat’s natural gift was always serving others which was exemplified through mentoring and being a preceptor to many nurses, sharing her years of wisdom and experience.  Pat was extremely conscientious in serving her patients with dignity, respect, and true compassion.  Pat’s compassion carried over into death as she donated her body to the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis for medical research to help find cures for diseases such as Alzheimer’s.

Survivors:  Children, Kim Thomas (Terry), Brian Ford (Don), Mickey Ford, Lee Ford (Mike), Jimmy Ford, and Elizabeth Ford (Roger); Grandchildren, Russell Ford (Ashley), Harlan Ford (Kendra), Cheyanne Harness (Caleb), and Jacob Ford (Megan); 4 Great- Grandchildren; Sisters, Linda Jackson (Bob) and Brenda Lilly.  A host of Nieces Nephews, and extended Family. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022, 7:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Scott Bullman officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. before services.
