TOP PHOTO: A truck’s brakes caught fire before daybreak on Tuesday creating slowdowns southbound out of Caryville.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Four accidents have been called in this morning; three within an hour. Plus, it’s extremely foggy over Jellico Mountain on I-75.

A non-injury two-vehicle wreck happened around 5:45am on the four lane near Gifts From Above. About a half hour later, another non-injury accident occurred in the 500 block of Cedar Creek Road when a truck hit a power pole.

A truck fire happened before daybreak near the top of the hill south out of Caryville on I-75.

Just after 6:30am, an 18-wheeler caught fire on I-75. That’s at Mile Marker 132 southbound just south of Caryville.
