NEW TAZEWELL, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF) – Compassion Ministries, which has held free food give-a-ways in Campbell County, is holding a free food give-a-way in neighboring Claiborne County on Saturday.

The event will be held at the Claiborne High School at 815 Davis Road at New Tazewell 37825. Robin Rolland with Compassion Ministries notes that the event begins at 10am and runs until all the food is gone.

“You’ll need to make sure your trunk is cleared out, because we’ll fill it full of food,” said Rolland. In addition to giving away free food, Mission of Hope representatives will be on hand offering free hygiene bags, bibles and offering encouragement. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 05/06/2022-6AM)
