JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – The Campbell County Regional Planning Commission met Monday evening, approving a major lot subdivision and a minor lot combination.

First discussed and approved on the agenda was a minor lot combination for Paul Harmon on Acorn Lane off Greene Lane, which turns off Stiner/S-R 63 Highway near the Frontier Store.

County Planner Jordan Rockwell recommended approval of the lot combination. 

“The surveyor in question said it looked good,” Rockwell said.

According to developers, the change is just making the lots bigger and septic has already been approved.  

Also discussed and approved was a major lot subdivision for 10 lots in the Jollywood section of Deerfield Resort at Deerfield Way and Deerfield Pond Circle. 

“The lots are very large, well within the minimum lot requirements. They have septic, it looks good to me, I recommend approval,” Rockwell said. 

Jacksboro resident Shane Carney was introduced as the East Tennessee Development District’s new TDOT transportation planner as a special guest at the county planning commission meeting.
