Gerald Marshall (Jerry) Sharp, age 84 of Caryville passed away Friday May 6, 2022. He was a member of LaFollette United Methodist Church. Owner and operator of LaFollette Machine & Tool for many years. He served in the Air National Guard 151st Fighter Interceptor Squadron 134th Air Refueling Wing and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, graduate of ETSU, member of Campbell County Masonic Lodge #778, a Scottish Rite Mason, and Kerbela Shrine Temple in Knoxville. He loved golf, basketball, and his family. Preceded in death by parents J. Minton and Mary Ann Elizabeth Queener Sharp, son-in-law Scott Troutman, sister Beverly Lynn Christopher.

Wife of 59 years: Julia Henegar Sharp

Children: Jarrett (Celeste) Sharp, Jansey Troutman, Jason (Susan) Sharp

Grandchildren: Catey Sharp, Shelby Sharp, Caroline Troutman (Michael) Brown, Maggie Troutman (Justen) Linares, Drew Troutman, Weston Sharp, Jackson Sharp, Nicholas Sharp.

Family will receive friends 5-7 PM Tuesday May 10 at the LaFollette United Methodist Church with Masonic service at 7 PM with funeral services following. Family and friends will meet Wednesday May 11, 10:15 AM at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Woodlawn Cemetery for 11 AM interment with military honors provided by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
