JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – In the ongoing effort between the Campbell County Commission and the organization that runs the county’s animal shelter, the Friends of Campbell County Animals (FCCA), to come to a new working agreement, a counteroffer was made on Thursday by the commission. Here is a related story surrounding the storyline of the negotiations.
An email with the counteroffer was sent to Animal Shelter Director Patricia Siwinski on Thursday afternoon. It contains an extra $25,000 a year on top of its previous offer of $225,000 a year, an annual 3% escalator clause, a one time payment of $46,237 in recognition of the prior absence of an escalator clause, $40,000 for a new animal control vehicle and additional services provided by the county to assist in shelter operations.
