LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The La Follette Police Narcotics Unit and Special Response Team were active soon after sun up on Friday. Investigators executed a narcotics search warrant at 311 Cherry Street at one of the Ginger Bread houses on the hill across from the old West End School.

“We’ve made several buys at this home during 2022 which justified a narcotics search warrant that we carried out this morning a little before 7am,” said LPD Detective Sergeant Matt Forsyth. Forsyth noted that the main target was Amanda Kay Cooper. “Her boyfriend was there but was not charged,” said the detective sergeant.

Cooper, 41, was arrested for the manufacture/sell/delivery of schedule II Meth and felony possession of drug paraphernalia. Cooper’s residence is listed as 311 Cherry Street. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 05/13/2022-11:30AM)
