LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Caryville and La Follette have adjusted their service schedules for Monday, Memorial Day.

City of La Follette Public Works Director Casey Boshears announces that there will not be any garbage pick up on Monday, May 30. “We’ll double up and pick up Monday’s garbage on Tuesday with Tuesday’s garbage,” said Boshears.

Caryville Mayor Bobby Stooksbury shares how Caryville will adjust its schedule for the holiday. The Caryville Street and Sanitation Department will be closed Monday, May 30, 2022, in observance of the Memorial Day Holiday. Monday’s garbage will be picked up on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, and Tuesday’s garbage will be picked up on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. Recycling will be picked up Thursday, June 2, 2022.
