JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Today is the last full day of service until Monday, June 13, at the Towe String Road Convenience Center. Though it will be a minor disruption of service with the Towe String Road Convenience Center closed for paving on Friday-Sunday (June 10-12), it will be a dramatic improvement of major proportions for customers of the center. NOTICE: There will be access to the animal shelter during the paving project.

“This will be an inconvenience, but it will be well worth it when the center reopens next Monday,” said Third District Commissioner Rusty Orick. He goes on to say that the other convenience centers will be open and encourages you to take advantage of those during the paving project.

Paving begins Friday at the TSR Convenience Center.

If all goes as planned the Towe String Road Convenience Center will reopen on Monday, June 13. In the event there is a weather delay, WLAF will pass along the schedule change. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 06/09/2022-6AM)
