LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Home décor business Rosie’s Farmhouse Life held its ribbon cutting for the LaFollette location May 20. Owned by Anna Brooks, the business offers tons of home décor and accessories, T-shirts, earrings and more at “affordable prices.”

Rosie’s Farmhouse Life was originally started by Brooks and her daughter Macy Wilcox. Wilcox is the co-owner of LaFollette Nutrition, where Rosie’s Farmhouse Life is also located, across from the First Baptist Church of LaFollette.

Rosie’s Farmhouse Life is owned by Anna Brooks, who opened the LaFollette location last year.

The pair had been shopping at a home décor business several years ago and noticed the prices were “kinda high.”

They did their research and decided to open their own home décor business and “make it affordable to people.” “And we also love to decorate our home and that’s how it all got started,” Brooks said.

According to Brooks the name of her business was inspired by her grandmother Jan Rose.

“My grandfather always called her Rosie,” Brooks said.

Originally the business started in her daughter’s home doing sales via Facebook live. From there they would do “Stop and Shop” events in parking lots. In December of 2020, they opened their Kingston location.

Rosie’s Farmhouse Life is also on Facebook and Instagram and does tons of live sales.

According to Brooks, a lot of their customers were from the LaFollette area and asked them to branch out with a location, which she did, going full time with the LaFollette store December of last year.

She said her goal with Rosies Farmhouse Life is to “leave a positive impact on everyone she meets.”

“Whether it be a smile or a changed heart. It’s a beautiful thing when a career and a passion come together and that’s exactly what happened when I opened Rosie’s Farmhouse Life in LaFollette,” Brooks said.

Rosie’s Farmhouse Life was originally started by Brooks and her daughter Macy Wilcox.
