LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Area children learned about Cove Lake State Park and the animals that live in the park from Ranger Mark Rooker and Amber Mitchell at the LaFollette Public Library on Wednesday.

The presentation was part of LaFollette Library’s Summer Reading Program which kicked off last week.

During the park presentation, children learned interesting facts about beavers, skunks, coyotes, turtles, and many other animals that make Cove Lake home. They also had a chance to ask questions and learn about their local state park.
