LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – A man with a lengthy arrest record was spotted by a La Follette Police Officer standing in the middle of a street reportedly unsteady on his feet.

“As I drove up North 13th Street on routine patrol, I saw Randy Partin standing in the street with a woman, possibly involved in a drug transaction,” said La Follette Police Detective-Sergeant Matt Forsyth. The Detective-Sergeant determined that Partin was intoxicated and placed him under arrest.

During a pat down, suboxone and bags of heroin, fentanyl and methamphetamines were found on Partin’s person according to Forsyth. Partin was placed under arrest in the Tuesday afternoon encounter.

Partin, 28, of 506 North 13th Street, La Follette faces multiple drug charges including the manufacture, sell and delivery of schedule I heroin, schedule II meth and schedule II fentanyl along with PI (public intoxication) based on Detective-Sergeant Forsyth’s notes.
