JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – On Sunday night, a call of an unwelcome male who entered a home sent Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputy Courtney Charles to Bluff Trace just off Queener Road. It was alleged the intruder possibly had a handgun and was intoxicated. When Charles arrived at the scene, Caryville Police Officer Jordan Tolliver, Jacksboro Police Officer Jessie Ferguson and CCSO Deputy Preston Mullins had already arrived on the scene and were attempting to arrest the male identified as Jason Paul Miller.

According to a report from the sheriff’s office, Miller was actively resisting arrest, extremely intoxicated and being belligerent with law enforcement officers. Miller allegedly smelled of alcohol and had white residue around his nostrils. The people Miller was staying with reported he had several beers and a quart of Moonshine.

Miller, 36, 430 Bluff Trace, Jacksboro was charged with public intoxication, disorderly conduct and resisting stop frisk halt arrest. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 06/23/2022-6AM)
