COSBY, TN (WLAF) – The girls with BSA Troop 435 honed their camping skills in mid-June with a troop camping trip. The troop traveled to Cosby and stayed at the Imagination Mountain Campground June 16-19. Nine troops attended the camping event.

The scouts worked on cooking skills, first aid, swimming, and “lots of special moments making memories and developing strong friendships,” according to Troop 435 Leader Liz White.

“It was an awesome few days with nine girls and four moms loving nature and definitely challenging our comfort zones,” White said.

Troop Leader White said she believes experiences like this camping trip will “increase the confidence of these young ladies, and ultimately make them more successful at whatever they do. I am so proud of each one of them.” (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 06/27/2022-6AM)
