Mr. George Michael Moses, age 65 of LaFollette, passed away one day shy of his 66th Birthday on Sunday, June 26, 2022.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran, U. S. Coast Guard Veteran, and was a Disabled American Veteran. George was currently employed with Roane State Community College as a Security Officer, served many years in law enforcement, was very ambitious, and wasn’t afraid to tackle a new project. George was always there with a quick quip and was a great cut-up, but more importantly, a great friend. Preceded in death by Mother, Jessie Ruth Chitwood, Father Bobby Chitwood and Brother, Roger Moses.         

Survivors:   Wife of 40 years, Mrs. Brenda Tidwell Moses; Sons, James Michael Moses (Annie), and David Matthew Moses (Amber); Grandchildren, Amber, Hannah, Kaylie Moses; Sister-in-law, Carolyn Moses; Aunts, Lucille Smith and JoAnn Smith.  Numerous Nieces and Nephews, and too many friends to mention.

Funeral Services Thursday, June 30, 2022, 7:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Rogers officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Thursday before Funeral Services.  Family and Friends will meet Friday, July 1, 2022, 10:30 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Powell Valley Cemetery for 11:00 A.M. Graveside Services and Interment with Military Honors Conducted by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
