LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Last week, La Follette Police arrested Randy Partin on multiple drug charges. See the related story HERE. Around daybreak Friday morning, the La Follette Narcotics Unit and Special Response Team raided the home where Partin’s father was located; 506 North 13th Street. The elder Partin, Rodney Allen, was the main target in today’s narcotics search warrant execution according to Detective-Sergeant Matthew Forsyth, and he was placed under arrest.

“This event this morning is a spin off from last week’s arrest of Mr. Partin’s son,” added Forsyth. The Det.-Sgt. goes on to describe Rodney Partin’s charges as being the manufacture, delivery and sell of schedule I and II with schedule I being heroin, a large amount. Felony possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with evidence are among the charges.

Diesel follows a command from Det.-Sgt. Forsyth.

K9 Office Diesel played a key role in this morning’s raid. “Partin ran and threw some of the drugs in the wooded area here, and Diesel was able to go into the woods and track down them down for us to recover,” said Forsyth.

Several other people were inside this North 13th Street home when police arrived.

There were anywhere from five to seven people inside the home when officers arrived. More arrests are pending stated Forsyth.

Partin, 48, listed his address at 410 North 7th Street, La Follette. Partin and his son, Randy, both remain housed in the Campbell County Jail as of Saturday morning without bond.
