Mary Jo Thurman, age 81, of Lafollette, TN went to be with the lord on August 1, 2022. She was a member of the LaFollette United Methodist Church and retired from the Lafollette Medical Center as Manager of the Lab after being with them for 36 years.

She was preceded in death by parents Charles and Mary Helen Day.

She is survived by her daughters: Shawn Thurman (Dean Allan), Meredith Paul (Toby);

Brothers: Jack Day (Sandy), and Pete Day

Sister:  Carol Rhea

Nieces:  Lisa Day Dawncaster and Courtney Day Spencer.

Visitation will be held 2-4 PM, Friday, August 5th at her residence, 217 Eastwood Drive, LaFollette.
