CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF) – A Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputy was on routine patrol when he passed a car with a headlight and a tail light out.

Just before midnight on Tuesday July 19, Deputy Shayne Wilburn was patrolling Highway 116 in south Campbell County when a vehicle passed with non-working lights.

The deputy conducted a traffic stop near Cross Fireworks and made contact with 43-year- old Marty Sherman Williamston. Wilburn told Williamston he had a warrant for public intoxication for a $500 cash bond from January 5, 2016, according to the report from the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office.

Williamston, 521 Sugar Hollow Road, LaFollette, was taken into custody. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 08/01/2022-6AM)
