LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – It was quite a unique site; a car inside a home, and the path it traveled to enter the home was rather lengthy.

Around 1:30 pm Wednesday, first responders from La Follette Fire and Police along with the Campbell County EMS responded to the accident in the 1100 block of Loop Road, not far from the Tennessee Avenue-Loop and Claiborne Roads split.

The young female driver of the car was out of the car and talking with first responders while her passenger was receiving treatment.

Here is a photo play-by-play of the path the car allegedly traveled:

First, the car came off Loop Road into the grass and through this fence continuing in the yard knocking down more fence.
After coming through the yard, it appears here that the car hit the other side of the fence in such a way that is went under the fence.
Damage was suffered at the home next door to where the fence was hit.
The path continues through this yard and on to the next.
This Oldsmobile Cutlass ripped through the underpinning of this deck and into the basement of the house before coming to a stop.
The driver appeared to be uninjured though the passenger did receive treatment.

The accident is being investigated by the La Follette Police Department. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 08/04/2022-6AM)
