JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – In less than five minutes on Thursday evening the Jacksboro Board of Mayor and Aldermen completed the monthly meeting. Three items were on the agenda.

First on the agenda was the purchase of a new fire hose for the fire department that will cost approximately $1,700. Next on the agenda was the purchase of four truck tires for the street department. And concluding the agenda was approval of a 5K run for Down Syndrome. The run is slated to start at Jacksboro Middle School on Oct. 22. All items were approved.
