Mr. Michael William Johnson, age 54, of LaFollette, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2022.  He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, and enjoyed working alongside his friend, Richard Marlow as a brick and block mason.  Michael enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and his Granddaughter.  Preceded in death by Father, Morris Johnson, Sister, Sherry Anderson, and Step-Daughter, Amanda Gilbert. 

Survivors:  Wife, Teresa Johnson; Son, Michael William “Mikey” Johnson, Jr.; Daughter, Heather Bottoms and husband, Michael; Granddaughter, Ansley Bottoms; Step-Grandchildren, Desmond and Peyton Gilbert; Mother, Sharon Johnson; Sisters, Tammy Johnson and Angela Johnson Owen and husband, Dean; Brother-in-Law, James Hatfield; Special Friend and Employer, Richard Marlow.  Several Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services Friday, August 19, 2022, 2:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 1:00P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Friday before funeral services.   Interment to follow at Powell Valley Cemetery& Memorial Gardens. 

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made in Michael’s honor to Walters Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
