LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – “I’m your ex and wanna be your next,” said Cliff Jennings former mayor of La Follette. That’s where the ex comes in, and the fact that he’s already qualified to run for mayor again has him wanting to be the next, next mayor of the city.

Jennings has 17 years experience as mayor of La Follette along with six years on council. He last served in the early 2000s as mayor. In the meantime, Jennings served a four year term on the county commission.

Qualifying deadline is today at noon. Election Day is Tues., Nov. 8.
