Wlaf1450Janice Ratliff, age 73 of Maryville, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2022, at Select Specialty Hospital in Knoxville. She was born on July 9, 1949, to the late Kenneth and Sadie Campbell Rich in Salt Lake City, UT. She was a fun loving person who enjoyed Bahama cruises, trout fishing, and shopping, especially on black Friday. Janice loved her dog Bo and her cat Ms. Kitty. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Ally Phillips.
She is survived by: husband of 37 years, Johnnie Ratliff; children, Tammy Ogle and James, Trina Phillips and husband Mike, Charlie Ratliff and wife April, Dee Dee Larrison, Daniel Wade Ratliff and Tia, Miranda Kay Ratliff and Terry; brother, Kipp Rich and wife Cindy; grandchildren, Megan, Austin, Brionna, Keira, Brooke, Ethan, Kyndall, Jon, Sarah, Scott, Jared,Peyton, and Zoe; great-grandchildren, Hayzlee, Reed, Tatum, Reese, and Nolan;several nephews, and other family and friends.
The family will receive friends at the Sherwood Chapel in Maryville on Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 12-2pm with the funeral service to follow at 2pm with Pastor Roger Leach officiating. Her burial will follow in the Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
