LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – “You know everybody needs help once in a while; I do, you do,” said Pastor Michael Dent during his Sunday morning radio program on WLAF. Dent was referencing Saturday’s massive food distribution event hosted by the La Follette Church of God.

“At our best count, we served more than 350 families with boxes of food that will help them prepare meals for the next few days,” said Dent. The veteran minister called Saturday a wonderful day and thanked the 25 volunteers who helped make the event such success along with all the other church members and supporters. He also thanked all those who came out to receive food and a blessing.
