This maroon Chevrolet and blue Mercury wrecked a little before 5pm Tuesday.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Two cars collided just before 5pm on Tuesday in front of the big Riggs Drug on West Central Avenue.

La Follette Police answered the call soon followed by units from the La Follette Fire Department. The Campbell County EMS also responded but was waved off. Initially, there was reason to believe someone may have been injured.

Both drivers remained in their cars while officials combed the scene.

Traffic headed toward Jacksboro had to use the turn lane to make it past the wreckage. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 08/23/2022-5:15PM)
