PIONEER, TN (WLAF) – The 50th annual Mountain Heritage Festival in Stinking Creek is this weekend, September 2 through the 4th at 621 Mountain Heritage Lane in Pioneer. This year’s festival will feature a two day rodeo on Friday and Saturday evenings and a two day festival Saturday and Sunday. There will be crafts and vendors, demonstrators, a petting zoo, drama performances, a wet/dry bounce house and slide and tons of other fun activities.  

Old timey demonstrators such as blacksmithing and country cooking will also be taking place. 

The Diamond B Rodeo will be Friday and Saturday with gates opening at 6 pm. “Mutton Bustin” for the kids starts at 7 pm, with the rodeo starting at 8 pm. Rodeo admission is $15 for adults, and $10 for ages 6-11. 

For the Saturday and Sunday festival, gates open at 10 am. Festival admission is $5 per day, with kids 10 and under free.
