Gary Ray Nolley, age 70, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at his home in LaFollette, TN. He was a 1970 graduate of Miamisburg High School and retired from Mound Laboratories after 30 years. Gary was proud of serving his country in the United States Air Force. He loved living on Norris Lake and 4-wheeling in the mountains with his wife.

Everyone knew Gary was an avid Ohio State football fan and traveled to a couple of OSU Bowl games. During football season you could find him every weekend watching the Buckeye games with his buddies. He would tell everyone Ohio State was his #1 Big Ten team and UT Vols was his #1 SEC team.

Preceded in death by Parents: Virgil and Evelyn (Strange) Nolley, Brother: Richard Nolley, Sister: Carol Mason, Nephew: Darrin Mason.

Gary is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Diane (Myers) Nolley. Three sons: Matthew Nolley (OH), Christopher and wife Michelle Black (OH) and Jeffery and wife Erika Nolley (AL). Sisters: Joyce Horner (OH) and Phyllis Johnson (FL).

Nieces and Nephews who provided tremendous support: Shannon (M. J..) Johnson, Kelly (Ryan) Posey, Amber Johnson, Greg (Lisa) Mason, David Horner, Melia (Scott) Scharcherer, Heather (Seth) Bundy, Riley Myers and Mike Myers. And a special

Great-Niece, Isabella Johnson, who Gary called frequently to hear about her day and loved to tease.

Gary had tremendous love for all his Grandchildren: Nevaeh Nolley, Bailey and Parker Black. Every phone call, text, FaceTime and photo lifted his spirits during his cancer fight.

There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date in Ohio.

Special Thank You to Nurse Delana with UT Hospice.
