JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – On the afternoon of September 1, the Jacksboro Board of Mayor and Aldermen met with an agenda filled with police business. The board accepted the resignation of two police officers, Cody Chapman and Jesse Ferguson.

The board agreed to promote Allen Bumgardner to the rank of police sergeant. Chris Paul was hired as a part time officer.

In the final business of the evening the board voted to spend $600 for fire prevention materials. This is done annually. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 09/08/2022-6AM)
