TOP PHOTO: A medical helicopter is making its approach to land on I-75 this morning to transport a patient to a Knoxville hospital.

This RV overturned on the southbound side of I-75 at Mile Marker 149 Friday morning.

JELLICO, TN (WLAF) – About 11 miles south of the Jellico exit (160) on I-75 is where a recreational vehicle overturned injuring at least one person. The call came in to Central Dispatch at 11:15am, and First Responders followed that call.

At least one person was injured in this wreck.
First Responders with the Jellico Rescue Squad were among the many agencies assisting.

Officials tell WLAF News that one person, likely the driver, was airlifted from the scene. The southbound lanes of the interstate were shutdown as soon as officers arrived on the scene.
