It’s back open at Towe String Road and the four lane.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The project is complete, and Towe String Road is now back open where it intersects with the four lane. It was 10:19am Friday when the last La Follette Police cruiser pulled away after keeping traffic away until the road could be reopened this morning.

TDOT picked up its concrete barriers on Friday morning.
A crew member with TDOT was injured according to one official as crews worked to open Towe String Road on Friday morning. He was transported to the La Follette Medical Center.
Here comes the first two vehicles onto the repaired section of Towe String Road as one car prepares to turn left.
