Mr. Jim Anderson, 70, of Mud Creek, Williamsburg, KY departed this life on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, KY.  Jim was a beloved daddy, pap, great grandpa, brother, uncle, and friend. He loved his children, grandchildren, and family more than anything. He enjoyed being outdoors, horses, and spending time with his family and friends.

Jim was born on September 27, 1952 in Mud Creek, Williamsburg, KY to the late Charlie Anderson and Mary Josephine (Carr) Anderson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his infant brother Donald Anderson and special Uncle Glennus Anderson and special Aunts Wilma Anderson and Nola Anderson Brown.

He is survived by his children: Carolyn Lawson (Paul) of Williamsburg, KY, Jimmy Anderson (Linda) of Williamsburg, KY, Renea Davenport (TJ) of Williamsburg, KY; his grandchildren: Jacob Lawson, Kaitlyn Lawson, Arissa Anderson (Brenna), Jimmy W. Anderson (Dakota), Ryan Anderson, Sierra Anderson, Justin Anderson, Ashley Anderson, Jason Anderson, Daven Davenport, Trey Davenport, McKayla Davenport; his great grandchild Kollins Anderson; his sisters: Barbara Owens (Jackie) and Brenda Hale (Stanley); his brother Gary Anderson (Regina); nieces Tracy Anderson & Janet Turner; nephews Joe Anderson, Kendrick Pemberton, & Joey Anderson; special cousins Kenneth Anderson, Orpha Brink, Helen Smith, Connie Wells, & Billie Jean Williams; and the family pets, Joie & Stumpy. He is also survived by a host of other family members and friends.

The funeral service will be held at Cox & Son Funeral Home Jellico, TN. The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, October 2, 2022 from 2:00 PM until the funeral hour of 4:00 PM. Reverend Ronnie Rose & Reverend Billy Carpenter will be officiating. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at the Anderson-Siler Cemetery Cox & Son Funeral Home of Jellico is in charge of all arrangements.
