JMS students had fun as they faced off with the one man volleyball team consisting of Bob Holmes.

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Bob Holmes is a one man volleyball team. It’s Holmes all by himself taking on a full team on the other side of the net; literally a one man volleyball team. He’s been touring Campbell County schools this week with his one man act all the while encouraging students with his inspiring message during rallies lasting about an hour.

Holmes delivered an inspiring message on Tuesday at JMS and will share a similar message tonight following the volleyball match.

Holmes welcomes you and your family out to Jacksboro Middle School tonight at 7:00 o’clock as he takes on a team of local policemen and firemen. Admission is free, and there’ll be complimentary pizza served after the rally.

See the one man volleyball team Thursday night at JMS. Admission is free.

He’s played more than 20,000 games of one man volleyball and has toured the world. In addition to playing a volleyball game tonight, he’ll deliver a message to young and old alike talking about drugs, alcohol, bullying and teen suicide. His goal is to convey to others that they can be a winner in life by beating the odds.

Bob Holmes has consistently won over the years facing entire teams.

Pastor Roger Hilliard of Heritage Baptist Church on East Memorial Drive in Jacksboro and the church, along with local sponsors, are making Holmes appearances possible. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 10/27/2022-6AM-PHOTOS COURTESY OF WLAF’S AARON HOPKINS)
