JACKSBORO, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF) – This news release is from the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office.

The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 136 Log Lane in the Jacksboro area on October 6, 2022.

The Campbell County S.W.A.T. team made entry into the residence and made contact with several individuals.

The defendant, Amanda Albright, was located in the right rear bedroom of the residence.  Upon search of the bedroom where she was found, officers found a pillow that had a zipper purse inside. The purse contained approximately $4,000.00 co-mingled with Campbell County confidential funds that were previously used to purchase narcotics from Amanda Albright. Also within the purse, deputies discovered a condom filled with approximately five (5) grams of brown powder believed to be heroin, approximately twelve grams (12) of a crystal substance believed to be methamphetamine, approximately (5) grams of crushed up orange pills believed to be buprenorphine/naloxone a.k.a. Suboxone and five  (5) oblong white pills along with three (3) red and white capsules.

Several digital scales, cellophane bags for packaging, and needles were found in the bedroom as well. A large, unmarked bottle filled with approximately 139 pills believed to be Gabapentin and a bottle of approximately 20 unopened packages of Suboxone strips were found near Albright’s bed.

Albright was taken into custody and transported to the Campbell County Jail. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 10/07/2022-1PM)

  1. They just did this about 2-3 months ago, if they would keep these people locked up for about 20 years, they wouldn’t have to do this so often.

  2. Easy solution one free trip to rehab on us…next time a free ride to the big house for an extended stay say five years next time life in the pen my guess not many repeat offenders in. Five or ten year cycle and a huge drop in all areas of criminal offenses due to no one left in the streets to commit crimes to fuel their drug lifestyle.
