The event is part of Rotary’s Literacy Service Project and is conducted in memory of longtime Rotarian Hack Ayers. The Ayers family sponsored the project and donated the dictionaries once again this year.

Rotarians Nancy Green and Larry Tanis had the honor of presenting dictionaries to every 3rd grader at White Oak and Wynn Elementary School.

“This is a project we participate in each year here in Campbell County as a way to give back to the community and invest in the students,” Rotary Club President David Hickman said. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 10/10/2022-6AM-PHOTOS COURTESY OF THE SOUTH CAMPBELL COUNTY ROTARY CLUB)
