Chester Harold Paul, age 67, of LaFollette passed away on October 11, 2022 at Tennova Medical Center of LaFollette, Tennessee. He was of the Baptist faith. He was an amazing husband, dad, and papaw. He loved spending time with his family. Chester enjoyed fishing, camping, watching NASCAR, and Tennessee football. He treasured time with his daughter Amanda and granddaughter Addison (his big baby girl). They were both his world.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alpha Luetta Paul Sutton and Clyde Curtis Paul; stepfather Hosea Sutton; brothers, Ronald Lee Paul, Charles Edward Paul, and Robert Curtis Paul.

Chester is survived by his wife of 39 years as of October 20th, Gail Paul; daughter Amanda Garrison and Granddaughter Addison Garrison all of LaFollette; brothers, Donnie Paul and wife Lydia Paul of Jacksboro, Gene Paul and wife Gail Paul of LaFollette, Cousin Bobby Pierce (like a brother) and his wife Diane Pierce of LaFollette; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Sending a special thanks to Tennova Medical Center of LaFollette for the excellent care they provided to Chester during his illness and to the family.  Special thank you to his sister-in-law Gina Boshears for the help and caring given to him and his wife Gail, daughter Amanda, and granddaughter Addison.

Visitation will be on Friday October 14, 2022 from 11 AM to 1 PM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with funeral service to follow with Rev. David Hicks officiating. Interment to follow at Powell Valley Cemetery.
